"Collective Bakery" has opened its first permanent café in Zurich West after a series of pop-ups.
The bakery offers the best sourdough bread in town, boasting a wonderful texture and complex flavor. The croissant is also on the way to the top of the Zurich rankings, with defined layers of dough and the smell of sweet butter.
The urban but tranquil garden on Förrlibuckstrasse is surrounded by the Zurich University of the Arts in the Toni-Areal.
Here, you can sit and enjoy a crunchy Danish with berries, a double-baked croissant with cheesecake filling, or even pizza al taglio.
Matt Winton, a two-time barista champion from Sweden, and his team ensure first-class espresso and filter coffee. Matcha is also available in both cold and hot versions.
